what does it mean to be an ORI reseller?
Our Rural Internet (ORI) offers a very rewarding program for continuing residuals for our resellers who are actively supporting our services. ORI will offer national support, but we know, along with your customers, that the best support is local support. You know what is happening in your community, you know the local challenges and in a worst-case scenario, you are able to work with the customer directly to solve their problems that are harder to do from across the country.
what responsibilities does a reseller have?
We want our resellers to be well trained on the equipment and the service, we want them to know how to quickly solve set up issues. Training webinars will be offered by ORI and keeping up on training is required of all partners to remain in our residuals program.
When selling our services, we want your company to be 100% honest with the customer. We want our resellers to give realistic speeds to expect for their area. As you notice, we do not lie to our customers like many companies that use a theoretical possible speed of 4G LTE, we give them a realistic speed for their local area. Nothing will ruin a customer’s experience faster than being told it’ll “give them up to 150-Mbps speeds”, yet they see 20-Mbps speeds because of their distance from a tower, or terrain issues.
