Can I put my SIM card in another device?

NO!  If you move your SIM card to another device, the National Tower Carriers will immediately terminate your service and ORI has no say in that matter.  NEVER remove your SIM card and place it in another device, even a device that is the same model as the one you have.

--------------------------------
THE REST OF THE STORY

While in the past, a SIM card had service and it could be changed from device to device without issue, that has changed quickly and dramatically.  Due to SIM Card cloning, which became a bigger issue in 2020 Covid period, all carriers now require a SIM card to be married to an IMEI number of the device.  That IMEI number is like a social security number, only for a single electronic device.  So when the network is expecting that SIM card to be associated with that one device and they see that the IMEI number changed (meaning it's on a different device), the carrier will immediately kick that SIM Card and service plan that goes with it, off of their network.

ORI has no control over that issue and no power to overrule the carrier's security rules and terms of service.  Placing the SIM in a different device will mean the service will be terminated and you will be responsible for the remainder of your contract period without service.

Again, this is NOT an ORI rule, it is a national tower carriers rule and as of 2021, is a rule all cellular-based products have to abide by.
